In SEEC our priority is to know the requirements of our customers, to confirm that their waste management objectives are understandable and achievable. We work with our customers to spot the composition of their waste; waste disposal and waste production rates so we will assist them in developing a service solution. We identify the most effective available waste disposal technology and where we are able to add value to recycling and recycling waste. We carefully plan transportation needs, ensuring that safe, compliant and reliable service delivery is maintained.

Solid Waste Management Policy

The Pakistan Government enacted the Pakistan Environmental Protection Act (PEPA) in 1997–which is that the most up-to-date and updated legislation on environment. It provides a framework for establishing federal and provincial Environmental Protection Agencies (EPAs). one in all the functions of Pak-EPA is to help the local councils, local authorities, Government Agencies and other persons to implement schemes for the correct disposal of wastes so on ensure compliance with the standards established by it.

The rules and guidelines that are yet to be introduced include:

  • Basic Recycling rules
  • Waste Management rules
  • E-Waste Management rules
  • Development of Environmental Performance Indicators(EPI)
  • Eco-Labeling guidelines and its promotion
  • Adoption of Life Cycle Assessment Approaches
  • Guidelines for Environmentally Sound Collection and Disposal
  • Guidelines for model land fill sites
